Getting 2 rats soon, and am wondering, do i have everything set up the best way possible for them?

i will be a first time rat owner. please only answer this question if you own rats or have owned rats in the past and are knowledgeable about rats.

i am getting 2 rats soon, and i just want to make sure that i have everything that i need for them and yeah...they will have a double unit critter nation, so i'll be using fleece for bedding. for accessory's for the cage i have: 1 food dish, 2 water bottles, 3 hammocks, 2 hideaways, cat balls(the kind with bells in them), a rope, wood chews, a flat rock for their nails, and that's it, for now at least..as for food, i plan on feeding the rats harlan teklad lab blocks, fresh fruits and veggies, and i might feed them some other things too to see what they like, like: soybeans, plain popcorn, cooked pasta, baby food, and so on.....

do i have everything set up good for the rats??

Sounds like you have things pretty wrapped up! Maybe a small salt lick, I have one for my guinnea pig,.............It is so refreshing to see someone who is responsible for taking care of these lil guys....well done, well done!!!
